Forecasters: Colder Weather To Move Into Portland

PORTLAND, OR – Colder air is settling into the region, bringing a noticeable chill to the Portland area and a return to wintery conditions.

Forecasters say daytime highs will struggle to climb out of the 40s over the next few days, with overnight lows dipping into the 30s. Skies are expected to be mostly cloudy, with periods of rain moving through the metro area and the Willamette Valley.

While snow is not expected in the city, temperatures will be cold enough for frost in outlying areas, especially during the early morning hours. Drivers are urged to watch for slick spots on bridges and overpasses, where temperatures can drop faster than on regular roadways…
