This past week, five new building permits were issued statewide for construction projects exceeding $1 million. These permits were issued in Auburn Huntsville, Gadsden and the Birmingham metro.
The list includes a $3.2 million renovation project at Twickenham Church of Christ on Whitesburg Drive. The renovation includes most of the building, so Mother’s Day Out programs have been paused while renovations are being made.
The project involves large-scale renovations and will be completed this fall.
