BETHEL, Ohio (WKRC) – A man wanted on felony warrants in Ohio was taken into custody after a standoff at a home in Bethel, where police said they had received tips that he would be there.
Bethel Police Chief Chad Essert said the suspect had felony warrants through Ohio parole for drug possession and assault. Police said they knew the suspect would be at the location because of tips.
Police said that at about 3:30 p.m., the man came outside to smoke a cigarette before running back inside. His girlfriend and a dog were inside the home, police said.
