Western Kentucky steals the spotlight in Happy Holly Day

HENDERSON, Ky. — “Happy Holly Day,” a new holiday film, recently finished its main filming in Henderson and Owensboro. The final day of shooting concluded on Feb. 8 at The Vault, a historic downtown event space formerly a bank.

The production by Louisville-based Goldenrod Film and Television used the venue’s grand ballroom and unique vault details to film key scenes, capitalizing on lingering Christmas lights left up by the city and natural January snowfall that provided authentic winter backdrops for the film.
