Guilford County residents pack meeting over concerns about early property tax reappraisal

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A crowd of concerned residents packed the Guilford County Center on Burlington Road in Greensboro Tuesday night, hoping to get answers about what the upcoming property tax reappraisal could mean for their wallets.

The meeting, hosted by Guilford County officials, drew a standing-room-only crowd. Many attendees were seniors worried that rising home values could translate into higher tax bills.
