A man riding a motorcycle died Tuesday morning after crashing into two cars on the Mathews Bridge, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
The crash shut down the eastbound lanes of the bridge as police investigated.

JSO Sgt. Hungerford said a man in his 30s was riding a Ducati motorcycle eastbound on the Mathews Bridge “at a high rate of speed.”
