FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — Illness has started to take a toll on Frankfort Independent Schools after the extended winter weather.
To combat the illness, Frankfort Independent Schools said schools will be closed Wednesday through Friday.

The three days will serve as the sixth, seventh, and eighth NTI days for Frankfort Independent Schools.
While students are out of school, authorities are asking families to wash jackets, coats, hats, gloves, and backpacks.
They also ask families to avoid contact with people who are sick and, if someone is sick, to limit contact with others as much as possible…
