Possible bomb making materials found in search of car towed from Myrtle Beach traffic stop

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Authorities found bomb making materials while searching a car that was towed to a nearby towing company following a traffic stop arrest on Monday.

The discovery was made around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, when two police officers searched the Scion tC at Quality Towing after the vehicle was brought to the lot the night before.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, along with the Myrtle Beach Police Department, was observed searching a car in a tow lot in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday afternoon.

According to MBPD, possible bomb making materials, gunpowder and several firearms were found in the car after it was brought to the lot the night before, following a traffic stop…
