MNPD: Teen shot drives fifteen minutes for help

Nashville, Tenn. (WZTV) — Metro Nashville Police say that a 17-year-old teen drove to the Edmondson neighborhood for help after he was shot Monday night.

The teen told officers that he was not sure where he was when he was shot. He said he had driven fifteen minutes to the 5900 block of Hitching Post Lane for help.

He was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg. The teen told police he saw someone he did not get along with on Nolensville Pike when he hear gunfire…
