A mother was arrested after allegedly pushing her daughter several times and breaking her phone.
Officers responded to the home of 43-year-old Ariane Topeze Williams regarding a disturbance call for service at 6:35 p.m. Monday at a home in the Beaumont development off County Road 466A , according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. She opened the front door to say she no longer needed their help before closing it again.
But while walking back to their patrol vehicle, the officers were approached by her daughter. She advised that on Sunday night, the two were arguing about the daughter’s behavior and her not following the house rules. It escalated to a physical altercation as she stood in her bedroom doorway, the report said.
Leading up to the altercation, the daughter said something that seemed to offend Williams, who pushed her in the chest with both hands with enough force to make her step back. Williams then put her fists in the air and took a “fighting stance,” but the daughter refused to fight. Williams pushed her two more times before she retreated into her bedroom, the report said…
