Weekend police arrests and incidents in Milpitas
Between Friday, February 13 and Saturday, February 14, Milpitas police made several arrests across the city. Early Friday morning, officers stopped a vehicle near the 100-Block of W Calaveras Blvd after the driver refused to pull over. The 36-year-old from San Jose was arrested for evading arrest, probation violation, and traffic offenses.
Later that evening, officers responded to the 250-Block of S Abbott Ave where a 50-year-old from Roseville was caught using a stolen credit card at a hotel. Another arrest occurred near the 30-Block of S Abbott Ave, where a 36-year-old from Milpitas with a $20,000 warrant was taken into custody for theft and drug-related charges.
On Saturday, officers handled a DUI crash at the 300-Block of Sango Ct after a 27-year-old San Jose driver hit two parked cars. No injuries were reported.
