Grieving across borders: Lina Guerra’s family mourns as manhunt for her accused killer continues

NORFOLK, Va. — For Lina Guerra’s family, the pain of her death is compounded by distance, trying to understand what happened from another country.

Pilar Angel Echevarria, Guerra’s cousin, spoke with 13News Now from Colombia using a translator app and the help of a fluent Spanish speaker. She said the separation has made an already devastating situation even harder.
