Hours after being pulled from an SUV that crashed on Route 40 in Bear and then caught fire, one of the occupants died, according to Delaware State Police.
Troopers were called to Route 40 near near David Place about 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 15, the agency said in a Feb. 17 news release.
There, troopers found a Jeep Compass that had crashed into a telephone pole. Police said the cause of the crash is “currently being investigated.”…
