Judge rules Saint Vincent Hospital violated nurses’ legal rights

WORCESTER – Saint Vincent Hospital committed more than a dozen labor-related violations, according to a judge’s ruling.

Violations include withholding contractual bonuses, bypassing the union to solicit nurses to sign incentive contracts and denying union officials access to the hospital and information needed to bargain on behalf of nurses, the ruling shows. Saint Vincent is ordered to reimburse nurses for any lost earnings or benefits.
