Big rig jackknifes on I-805 in San Diego during heavy rain

(FOX 5/KUSI) — A semi-truck lost control on the Interstate 805 bypass near northbound Interstate 5 early Tuesday morning during slick road conditions.

The incident, which was reported just after 4 a.m., caused the right two lanes of the freeway to be blocked off to traffic. The roadway was impacted for about three hours, California Highway Patrol said.

Authorities said there did not appear to be any damage to the bridge structure as a result of the crash. No injuries were reported.
