A string of stores in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles were damaged by flooding during Monday’s torrential downpours, and business owners say this is a reoccurring issue that the city fails to fix each year.
Along Melrose Avenue near Martel Avenue, an entire block of businesses was damaged by floodwaters that gushed inside, leaving behind mud and water damage and causing thousands of dollars in inventory and merchandise losses.
