FORT WORTH, Texas — A 26-year-old Fort Worth mother described by family as “very full of life” was found dead inside her apartment last week in what police are calling a domestic-related homicide, and the father of her 7-month-old son has been arrested in El Paso.
Talia Sanchez was discovered Feb. 11 inside her apartment near the 7300 block of Harris Parkway after her mother called police to conduct a welfare check. Officers initially searched the area but did not locate Sanchez. Later that evening, a search warrant was obtained, and officers entering the apartment found a deceased adult woman and evidence of a crime.
Elijah Jordan Jacobo, 27, who lived with Sanchez, was arrested by law enforcement officials in El Paso. He faces charges related to Sanchez’s death.
