Clinton Methodist Church volunteers build beds for children in need

CLINTON, Miss. (WLBT) – Members of Clinton Methodist Church used their building skills to help some of the community’s most vulnerable children through the Beds of Hope Build event.

The event invited volunteers to help build beds for children in the community who need a safe and comfortable place to sleep. The church has partnered with Court Appointed Special Advocates, known as CASA.

CASA trains volunteers to help abused and neglected children within Hinds County’s court system. Several young people used their day off from school to help build the beds, including members of Troop 88 of the Boy Scouts of America…
