Two killed in early-morning crash on Milwaukee’s southwest side

Milwaukee police are investigating a crash early Sunday morning that left two people dead on the southwest side of the city.

The single-car crash happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, near the intersection of South 36th Street and West Mitchell Street.

According to police, one victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The person was later identified as 61-year-old Venus S. Harding of Milwaukee by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office…
