FanDuel Sports North plans to close downtown Minneapolis office, with 20 laid off

The company that owns FanDuel Sports North has signaled the impending closure of its downtown Minneapolis and layoffs impacting 20 employees, a move coming a little over a year after it lost broadcasting rights to Minnesota Twins games.

Main Street Sports Group has informed the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development via a WARN notice that it intends to permanently close its FanDuel Sports North office at 800 LaSalle Avenue by the end of April 14.
