Beloit residents asked to take survey for Krueger Pool plan

BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) – The City of Beloit wants feedback from the community to help it decide the future of Krueger Pool.

The city launched a short survey with questions regarding amenities, location, pricing, property tax impacts and more. Leaders say the deadline for the survey is March 9, 2026, and say it should take no more than five minutes to complete. Here is a link to the survey.

About Krueger Pool

Krueger Pool was built in the late 1930s as the country recovered from the Great Depression as part of the Works Progress Administration, created by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The pool, located at 1700 Hackett Street, was last remodeled in 1982 and leaders say the aging infrastructure has created challenges over the past decade to keep it in operation. The diving area opened in 2019 but later closed due to several mechanical issues…
