Internationally known DJ Steve Aoki was scheduled to bring his highly anticipated Dim Mak 30th Anniversary Tour to The Armory in Minneapolis. The Twin Cities stop was one of only a handful across the country celebrating the 30th anniversary of his record label.

For fans in Minnesota, the February date was shaping up to be one of the biggest electronic dance music events of the winter, drawing crowds from across the region.

Why Steve Aoki Show Was Postponed in MN

In a letter to fans explaining the postponement, Aoki said it was a difficult decision. He emphasized that he wants to deliver a show fans truly deserve, and that meant making changes rather than rushing the production.

According to Aoki, both the Minneapolis and San Francisco shows are being built from the ground up. That includes a new custom stage and new visuals created specifically for these performances, elements that will not be seen anywhere else on the tour…
