Firefighters in Washington, D.C. responded to a fire at a multi-story residential building in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. According to the DC Fire and EMS Department’s post on X, the fire started in the basement and spread to the first and second floors. Crews extinguished the flames and prevented further spread.
