Kirby church remembers slain 14-year-old who was preparing for Catholic confirmation

Congregants at a Kirby church are honoring a 14-year-old member gunned down Sunday on the Northeast Side as the search for his killer continues.

St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Kirby held a vigil Monday night for Isaías Rosendo Treviño, who was in his first year of preparation for Catholic confirmation, the church said in a social media post.
