Sedgwick County property tax valuations to be released soon

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Sedgwick County residents will soon know how much, if at all, their property taxes will go up.

Starting March 1, about 239,000 valuation notices will be mailed out to property owners in the county. The valuations will include the property’s appraised value and instructions on how to appeal to the county.

Sedgwick County Appraiser Deanna Aspedon will present the 2026 annual property valuation report to the Board of County Commissioners on Wednesday. She will be providing details about what factors led to increased valuations this year.
