COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – An hours-long standoff in a northwest Colorado Springs neighborhood ended peacefully with the suspect’s arrest.
A shelter-in-place order for surrounding homes has been lifted as of 9 a.m.
According to a CSPD lieutenant, officers responded to the 1000 block of Hans Brinker Street just after midnight Tuesday on a reported burglary. Police found no sign of a burglary but recognized the woman at the scene as someone with multiple warrants. The lieutenant said that once the woman was informed of her warrants, she locked herself in the house. Police have not said what charges the warrants were for…
