SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah, Feb. 16, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have arrested an 18-year-old man for six felonies after the Feb. 8 shootings of two men and a juvenile male near 300 East and Penney Avenue in South Salt Lake.
Damien Marco Flores was arrested for investigation of the alleged crimes of:
- Two counts of felony discharge of a firearm, a first-degree felony
- Three counts of aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury, a second-degree felony
- Felony discharge of a firearm causing bodily injury, a second-degree felony
- Theft/receiving a firearm or operable motor vehicle, a second-degree felony
Officers arrived on scene, in the area of 251 Royal Garden Terrace, and found shell casings on the ground, according to arrest documents for Flores. A blood trail led away from the scene.
Officers were alerted that three victims had arrived at Intermountain Medical Center. The juvenile had wounds that were not life-threatening…
