A new speakeasy-inspired cocktail bar, Ricky’s Lounge, is setting up shop in downtown Tacoma, The News Tribune reported last week.
The cocktail bar is set to open in a little more than a month, allowing the owner, Santino Telles, to put the finishing touches on the interior space, the article said.
“It’s going to be true to the ’20s and ’30s,” Telles was quoted as saying. “When you go to speakeasies in Vegas or whatever, they’re very bright and brassy; it’s going to be dark and intimate.”…
