Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites New officers, board members chosen

Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites, the Bethlehem-based nonprofit focused on historic preservation, education and community enrichment, has named Colleen Gilbert chair of its board of trustees. Gilbert, a Bethlehem resident, assumed the role Jan. 1.

A retired marketing professional with 25 years of experience in financial services, destination marketing and higher education, Gilbert has worked with Wells Fargo; the cities of Branson, Missouri, and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; and The Ohio State University. She also serves as co-chair of the Tocqueville Society for United Way and volunteers with the Early Childhood Education Collaborative.

A Lehigh Valley resident for the past nine years, Gilbert previously lived in Belgium and the United Arab Emirates. During that time, she was involved with the Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas, helping liberate victims of human trafficking, and served as a delegate to the United Nations Council on Women. She and her husband, Mark, frequently travel to visit their three adult children…
