Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another injured on Monday in Wagener, South Carolina.
Aiken County sheriff’s deputies responded shortly before noon on Feb. 16 to the area of Rawls Mill Pond Road and Old 96 Indian Trail after receiving a report that someone had been shot, noted the sheriff’s office in a news release.
When deputies arrived, they found two men inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds, noted the sheriff’s office. Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment. One of the victims later died from his injuries…
