BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) – Police in Bradenton rescued a bald eagle on Monday after receiving a call regarding a bird in distress.
According to the Bradenton Police Department (BPD), a good Samaritan called police after spotting the bird struggling to fly near 8th Street West and Manatee Avenue.
Officers said they found the bird and carefully detained it in a patrol car for its own safety…
