Drivers using the inner express lane from the Matthews area should expect to pay at least $8.20 in one-way tolls if they exit before merging to I-77, according to the NC Quick Pass online toll calculator. Evening rush hour trips on the outer express lane back to southeast Charlotte will cost at least $12.
