A Villager’s son was arrested when he was caught behind the wheel of his mother’s Lexus.
Brian Mark Krajewski, 51, who lives on the Historic Side of The Villages, was driving his mother’s silver Lexus at 7:45 p.m. Monday when a deputy noticed the vehicle had a faulty passenger side headlight. The vehicle was pulled over on Morse Boulevard at San Juan Drive, at the entrance to the Village of Hacienda, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Krajewski’s mother, who is a resident of the Village of Winifred, was determined to be the vehicle’s registered owner. A deputy saw Krajewski putting a 24-ounce container of Twisted Tea in the cupholder.
He initially gave the deputy a false name, because he has a suspended driver’s license and a long history of arrests. In 2024, Krajewski was busted as part of a multi-agency initiative aimed at making sure offenders are abiding by terms of their probation…
