Strong thunderstorm warning for Marin County
A strong thunderstorm is moving through southeastern Marin County this evening. The storm was tracked near Stinson Beach, about 11 miles southwest of San Rafael, moving east at 35 mph. It may bring wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea-size hail.
Areas that could be affected include San Rafael, Mill Valley, Larkspur, Corte Madera, Tiburon, Fairfax, Sausalito, and nearby communities. The National Weather Service advises residents to secure outdoor items and stay alert for changing weather conditions until 8 PM PST…
