HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — As raging brush fires threatened homes in Hillsborough County, an impressive display of teamwork among law enforcement and firefighting agencies swiftly evacuated residents and unleashed aerial assaults, dumping nearly 19,600 gallons of water to protect the community from disaster.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said that on February 15, they took action to protect residents as brush fires threatened homes in the area.
