Venezuela man accused of attacking ICE officer, damaging vehicle

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The U.S. Attorney’s Office said a man from Venezuela is facing three charges related to an incident in December 2025, in which he is accused of assaulting an officer and damaging a police vehicle.

According to the Attorney’s Office, 29-year-old Jorge Torres-Perez of Venezuela was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement Removal Operations (ICE/ERO) in December 2025 when he was released from the El Paso County Jail.
