HALEIWA, Hawaii (Island News) — A rental dispute is forcing big changes to a decades-old iconic landmark in Haleiwa.

“We wanted it to reflect what rural Hawaii was really like in the plantation years,” said Howard Green, developer and owner of the North Shore Marketplace.
