Police: Man who pointed gun at officers in Carbon County faces charges

KIDDER TWP., Pa. – Pennsylvania State Police say a man who was shot and injured after pointing a gun at police officers in Carbon County has been charged.

Deyvi Javiel Rincon, 23, of Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

He was due to be arraigned and taken to the Carbon County Correctional Facility, once he was medically cleared from the hospital, state police said…
