PARRISH, Fla. (WWSB) – A pedestrian was killed after being run over by a dump truck in Parrish, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the dump truck was backing east on Bella Mar Trail, east of Diamond Reef Drive, when the pedestrian was helping guide the vehicle as it backed up to unload. The pedestrian tripped and fell and was run over by the truck’s right-side tires, FHP said.
