INDIANA — Three men were arrested in Tippecanoe County after authorities seized nearly $700,000 worth of counterfeit pills and other narcotics during a drug investigation, officials said.
According to police, the Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force recently concluded an investigation into a local drug-dealing operation that led to the arrests of Adolfo Olivera, 26, of Lafayette; Romeo Sanders, 27, of Marion; and Elias Zamot, 30, of West Lafayette.
Investigators reported seizing more than 39,000 counterfeit pills with an estimated street value of $688,860. Authorities said the drugs included approximately 7.43 pounds of fentanyl disguised as oxycodone pills and 8.64 pounds of methamphetamine pressed to resemble Adderall tablets…
