HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. — A traffic stop in Hamilton County led to the arrest of three juveniles for illegal gun possession on Wednesday.
Shortly after midnight, a Hamilton County deputy observed a vehicle reportedly violating traffic laws. The officer proceeded to activate his emergency lights and initiated a traffic stop near the 9900 block of southbound Keystone Parkway in Carmel.
During the investigation, the deputy located five teenagers, four of whom were juveniles, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. The officer then located approximately four firearms, one of which was equipped with a “switch,” making it into a fully automatic firearm.
