NPD: 3 arrested in connection to shooting on Hunter Street

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY)– Three people have been arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred in Norfolk Tuesday evening.

According to police, officers were called to the 1600 block of Hunter Street at 5 p.m. for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result, police arrested 23-year-old Reginald D. Buggs, 22-year-old Antoine Gray and 22-year-old Keshawn R. Hunt in connection with this incident. They face the following charges:

  • Buggs– attempted malicious wounding and use of a firearm
  • Gray– attempted malicious wounding and use of a firearm
  • Hunt– malicious wounding, attempted malicious wounding, use of a firearm and possession of a firearm by felon
