Trane to move supplier to new Montgomery County site, taking 12 semis per day off Interstate 24

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The first customer at the new NorthPark Logistics site in the Industrial Park will be the warehouse and logistics supplier for Trane Technologies, which will relocate from the Nashville area to Clarksville, taking 12 semi-trucks per day off Interstate 24.

And NorthPark Logistics, a project of Hamilton Development Co., will soon also be home to a much-larger facility that will become the eastern hub for “one of the hottest companies in the United States of America.”

Trane to bring supplier closer to Clarksville

Located at 4175 Guthrie Highway, just minutes away from Trane’s manufacturing facility on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, the building at NorthPark Logistics is a 206,752 square-foot facility, and construction should wrap up next month.

Trane’s current supplier is in Goodlettsville, just north of Nashville, and their semis have to do six “loops” per day – three round-trip in the morning and three round-trip in the afternoon – for 12 trips on I-24 per day, 360 per month, according to Josh Ward, executive director of the Clarksville Industrial Development Board, and Paul Jacoway with Trane, speaking at Wednesday morning’s IDB meeting…
