Chesapeake man dies in I-95 crash in Prince George, state police say

Virginia State Police say a Tidewater man was killed Feb. 18 on Interstate 95 in Prince George County.

State Police Sgt. Jessica Shehan said in an email that the incident happened around 9:50 a.m. on the southboud side of I-95 near the U.S. Route 301/Crater Road interchange. A 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 34-year-old Joshua Abraham Frye ran off the road and struck a tree.

Frye, a resident of Chesapeake, was killed instantly. Shehan said he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash…
