COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – News Leader 9’s Amaya Graham is participating in Dancing Stars of Columbus this year, dancing in honor of her grandfather who passed away after battling dementia.
Graham said his journey wasn’t one he walked alone. His family, especially his daughter, watched the disease slowly change the man they knew and loved.
“Dad was a hard worker. He worked at Sunshine biscuit company he also managed his own cleaning service and he loved in his spare time to give back to his community of Hattchechubee,” Graham’s family member said.
