Dealer reports catalytic converters stolen from 4 vehicles

LIBERTY, Ohio (WKBN) – An auto dealer on Tibbetts-Wick Road in Liberty reported that the catalytic converters on four cars parked on his lot were cut off and stolen.

The owner reported the theft to police last Friday. He said he was moving cars around the lot when he discovered that a Toyota Prius, Honda CRV, Ford 1-50 and a Toyota Camry all had the catalytic converters cut off.

The owner said he didn’t know when the thefts happened, but that he moved the Prius in January and that the catalytic converter was on the car at that time. He is reviewing surveillance video to see if the theft was recorded…
