EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – This is not the first time Indiana lawmakers have tried to address homelessness, but it is the first time a bill like Senate Bill 285 has made it this far.
The bill would allow law enforcement to arrest a person experiencing homelessness if they do not move 48 hours after they are warned.
