Fresno fire engine struck by vehicle while aiding accident

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Fresno Fire engine was struck by another vehicle while it was at a traffic accident Wednesday.

Fresno Fire said just before 9:30 a.m., firefighters were responding to a crash on Highway 99 near Fresno Street involving four vehicles, including a semi-truck.

While firefighters were on scene, a passing motorist struck the fire engine.

The damage to the engine was minor, and no first responders or members of the public were injured…
