TENNESSEE — Two men were arrested Tuesday in Cookeville following a joint drug investigation that led to the seizure of multiple narcotics, firearms and cash, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Authorities said agents began investigating in January after receiving an online tip alleging illegal drug sales in Cookeville. The investigation involved the TBI’s Investigation Division, the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force and the Cookeville Police Department.
On Tuesday, investigators executed a search warrant at a home in the 800 block of East Broad Street. During the search, officials reported seizing marijuana, cocaine, MDMA, THC cartridges, seven firearms, multiple rounds of ammunition, drug paraphernalia and approximately $40,000 in cash…
