The North Myrtle Beach City Council made it easier on Monday, Feb. 16 for police to break up nuisance parties.
In a unanimous vote, council passed an amendment to its Code of Ordinances to add nuisance parties and impeding public passage.
The amendment establishes clear definitions and enforcement authority for law enforcement to address unsafe gatherings more effectively while remaining consistent with existing city regulations.
